At Meet, we believe it is more important than ever to build connections within our community.
Following current government guidelines, we can now host in-person Mum Meets. Please read the information below covering the measures we have put in place to keep you and your little ones safe.
We have spent a lot of time ensuring we can operate in-person Mum Meets safely and inline with government measures. To keep the exposure risk to a minimum our Mum Meets will have a 15 person limit (including children). These will be allocated on a first come, first served basis.
Please check back here regularly as we will be updating this guidance as government advice changes.
All attendees are asked to:
Book your place and for any children who will attend with you. Please do not attend if you have not received a booking confirmation email.
Complete a COVID-19 Screening Survey prior to arrival at the Mum Meet. These details will be kept securely for 21 days after the event for track and trace purposes, after which they will be destroyed.
Download the NHS Track and Trace APP - A QR code will be available to scan upon your arrival. We may also need to collect your name and email address for our own tracking purposes.
Please observe a 2m social distance from other families attending the Mum Meet. We understand this can be difficult with little ones, but it is ultimately your responsibility to ensure your children adhere to distancing.
Bring your own hand sanitiser, tissues and wipes to help to maintain good hand hygiene throughout the Mum Meet.
You are welcome to wear a face covering, however it is not currently a government requirement in outdoor spaces.
Complying with these measures will ensure we can continue to host in-person Mum Meets.
Our volunteers are required to undertake a COVID-19 training course and will be familiar with our specific COVID-19 risk assessment before hosting any Mum Meets. They will also be required to submit the Screening Survey before the event.
Please DO NOT attend if you or anyone in your 'bubble' are showing symptoms of COVID-19 or if you have been in contact with someone with symptoms within the last 14 days. Follow government guidelines and book a test.
Our procedure if a someone develops symptoms at a Mum Meet
If anyone shows signs of being unwell or symptoms of COVID-19 during a Mum Meet, they will be asked to leave immediately and advised to isolate at home.
If the member needs medical advice, we will contact NHS 111, or 999 in an emergency.
If a confirmed case is identified, all attendees of the Mum Meet will be contacted and asked to isolate, following NHS Track and Trace guidance.
We will also continue to host our online Mum Meets, if you do not feel comfortable meeting in person, we would highly recommend attending an online social - a support network is vital in this extremely challenging time.
